How do you find the right keywords?

Ranking on Google has changed. How do you find the right keywords?

It’s not the early naughties any more. Google is a lot tougher to get rankings for. Here’s 4 tips that make it easier:

Tip 1: Pick a niche

Everyone goes after big terms. You can eventually get there but it takes 6 months to see traction, 12 months to see your traffic go up and 2 years to be really crushing it on Google. Focus on a niche area first. It’s far cheaper and quicker.

Tip 2: Pick big buzzwords and things that are booming

Technology is moving so fast and things are constantly changing. So, why not go after new interesting things? How? Use Google Trends. It breaks down what’s hot and what people are typing.

Tip 3: Use Ubersuggest

Enter a keyword and it will give you ideas on what people are typing in. People don’t just search for terms such as “send money”, they type “what is the fastest or cheapest way to send money?” Use this to your advantage.

Tip 4: Search on Quora

Type in keywords that are related to your industry and you will find out the most popular questions people are asking. The cool thing about Quora is that it is based on user feedback. You can use this to create content that is related to your space. Better rankings.
