You have visitors, but these visitors aren’t really converting into customers. What do you do? In this article, I’m going to share with you seven ways that you can increase your conversion rate.
1. Countdown clock
If you look at any popular e-commerce website such as Amazon, they may have a flash sale with a countdown clock. If that countdown clock is accurate, it entices the prospect to convert. It’s as simple as that.
If you leverage a countdown clock on your website, you’ll notice that you’ll get more conversions.
2. Exit Pop-ups
Second strategy for you is to use exit popups, say an animated GIF. When you show people what they’re gonna get within your exit intent, but using an animated GIF within the background, you are guaranteed to generate more conversions. There’s a free tool called Hello Bar to do this.
3. Discounted Trials
The third strategy that I have for you is discounted trials. No matter what product or service you have, you’ll notice that some people are gonna buy. For all the people that aren’t gonna buy, which is the majority, offer them one last ditch effort to convert them. Low cost £1 trials or say a free 5 day pass for a gym.
4. Geo-Targeting
The fourth strategy that I have for you is to make your landing page more personalized, and you can do this through geo-targeting. Why not personalize your landing page and include the person’s city within your copy?
It makes your clients feel that you understand them and have created an offer around their needs. This can happen by just adding a city within the headline.
5. PicSnippet
What PicSnippet allows you to do is send a personalized image based email to your readers. So say, your clients are opted into your email list, and they were signed up to watch a webinar but they didn’t join; you can send them a customized email message, with you holding up a sign with their name in there.
All you have to do is insert the PicSnippet html into your email template software. So when your client loads the email, it’s customized and they’re like, “Oh, wow. You sent them this personalised email holding up an image or a sign with their name on it.” They are much more likely to click there and convert. It works extremely well.
6. Remarketing
The sixth strategy I have for you is remarketing. I know it’s been out there for years, but very few people do it. If 95% of your visitors aren’t converting into customers, why aren’t you retargeting them all over the web? Why are you offering them different types of offers or educational material to get them back over to your website, and then convert them?
You can use Google Ads remarketing, which includes Youtube remarketing, you can do remarketing on Facebook. The possibilities are endless. Remarketing is a really effective channel to increase sales.
7. Quizzes
The seventh and last strategy I have for you is quizzes. There’s a tool called LeadQuizzes that’s really good. What LeadQuizzes does, it allows you to create a quiz that gets people engaged.
Let’s say you’re visiting faisalanwar.co.uk, and you’re reading my blog posts, and you want to increase your leads, right? That’s why you’re here on my website. I’ll end up creating a quiz.
Let’s say the quiz is to learn how to increase your conversions. The quiz may ask you certain things like what type of website do you have? Have you tried SEO, PPC? It asks you five, or six, or seven, or eight questions, and then at the end it says want to see the results for the best way to grow your traffic? Put in your name and email to get the results. That’s how you generate leads from quizzes.
So, in conclusion if you leverage these seven tips, you can start to generate more conversions and sales using unconventional strategies.
