What tools should I use to market a business online?
This is a question I get asked a lot. So, here they are:
1. Google Analytics: It shows what kind of traffic your site is getting and what traffic sources are causing conversions. The later is what needs to be optimised. Set up and monitor, goal and conversion tracking.
2. Ubersuggest: Type in keywords that you are already getting conversions from and it will show you more that you can be going after in terms of pay and organic.
3. Google Search Console: Look at all your posts and if the CTR is less than 5%, find out which keywords are getting impressions, then rewrite and integrate those keywords into your article.
4. Crazyegg: This tool shows how people are engaging with your website. How far they’re scrolling and even where they’re clicking. Take that data and maximise sales.
5. Subscribers: This tool helps to retarget visitors who’ve come to your website to entice them to come back through push notifications.
6. HubSpot: A great tool that will help look at your overall marketing.
So that’s it for today. Remember, any digital marketing tool, however good is completely useless without appropriate actions based on the data provided. Knowing is half the battle.
